Einhell Germany AG Reports 11% Revenue Growth in Q3
Einhell Germany AG announced record revenue growth of 11% in the third quarter of 2024. The company, a prominent producer of battery-powered tools and garden equipment, reported revenues of EUR 839.3 million, surpassing the previous year's EUR 755.8 million. This marks a 4.2% increase over 2022, driven primarily by the Power X-Change product line, which now accounts for approximately 50% of sales.
CEO Andreas Kroiss attributes this performance to the company's strategic focus on cordless solutions within the DIY market. Einhell's profit before taxes reached EUR 72.7 million, with a pre-tax margin of 8.7%. Earnings per share rose to EUR 4.5, reflecting a favorable financial turnaround.
The company has also expanded internationally, establishing a presence in Thailand and Vietnam, with plans to develop a sourcing structure in Vietnam. Production of batteries commenced in Hungary, ensuring sustainable supply chains. Additionally, Einhell seeks acquisition opportunities in the U.S. to leverage the largest DIY market.
