Ekosem-Agrar AG Divests Interests in Russian Units
Ekosem-Agrar AG has sold its stakes in Russian subsidiaries to OOO “EkoNiva”. This move aligns with the bond restructuring plan established in June 2024. The transaction saw the purchase price transferred to sellers' foreign accounts. The shareholders of the acquiring company "EkoNiva" are largely the same as those of Ekosem-Agrar AG.
The sale facilitates the regional integration needed due to recent challenging developments affecting the German-Russian company structure. This divestment helps maintain the Group’s operational business and is a key step in executing the bond restructuring. The plan includes selling bonds from 2012/2027 and 2019/2029 at EUR 300.00 each.
Ekosem-Agrar's management has been working with partners and authorities to oversee the cash transfer to Germany. Expected delays due to legal and holiday factors are anticipated, with immediate reporting once the bond sale concludes.
