EKPO Unveils Next-Generation NM20 Fuel Cell at IAA 2026
EKPO Fuel Cell Technologies GmbH introduced its new NM20 fuel cell stack at the IAA Transportation 2026. The stack, now in its latest version, is designed for heavy-duty applications, moving closer to industrial deployment. The NM20 platform offers high power density and ease of integration.
EKPO has focused on refining the stack's scalability and optimizing its manufacturing processes. The NM20's architecture supports industrial scale-up, combining high power density with an operating temperature of up to 95°C. The NM20 is also more compact and lightweight.
With a range of outputs, the NM20 is suitable for road, rail, marine transportation, and stationary power systems. It remains efficient and is designed for 25,000 operating hours. EKPO's modular design approach allows for cost-effective production and flexible integration.
