Encavis AG Expands with New Wind Farm in Hesse
ENCAVIS AG, a Hamburg-based operator specializing in wind and solar parks, has announced the acquisition of a wind farm project in Bad Arolsen-Landau, Hesse. The project, in partnership with ABO Energy, involves two Vestas V162/6.0 turbines, each with a capacity of 6 MW, totaling a generation capacity of 12 MW. This new facility contributes to Encavis's goal of reaching 7 gigawatts of capacity by 2027.
Construction has already begun, with grid connection anticipated by October 2025. ABO Energy, which has collaborated on five wind farm projects with Encavis since 2023, emphasizes its strong ties to the region. Along with Encavis, they aim to enhance sustainable energy infrastructure, supported by a 20-year EEG feed-in tariff agreement for electricity purchase.
