ENCAVIS Expands Renewable Energy Portfolio with Solar Park Acquisition

Hamburg-based Encavis AG has acquired a 62 MW solar park in Dietfurt and Breitenbrunn, Bavaria, from FRONTERIS Energie GmbH. This project, under construction since September 2024, is anticipated to connect to the grid by the second quarter of 2025. It will generate around 67 GWh of green electricity annually.

This acquisition is significant for Encavis, marking their largest solar venture in Bavaria and boosting their total renewable capacity in Germany to 780 MW. The collaboration with FRONTERIS signals potential future ventures in solar, wind, and battery storage.

The Dietfurt project benefits from a 20-year EEG feed-in tariff, ensuring electricity purchase security. Both Encavis and FRONTERIS express optimism about their partnership, aiming for further cooperation in the renewable sector.
