Encavis and Alfa Laval Sign Decade-Long Energy Deal

Encavis GmbH, based in Hamburg, Germany, has entered into a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Alfa Laval S.p.A., the Italian branch of Alfa Laval AB. The agreement involves 50% of the output from the Pozzolo solar park in Italy's Alessandria province, translating to approximately 22.9 GWh of renewable electricity annually. This deal supports Alfa Laval’s goal of net-zero emissions, aiming to decarbonize its operations by 2027 using Guarantees of Origin for transparency.

Encavis CEO, Mario Schirru, highlighted the agreement as a key element in supporting industrial net-zero strategies. Encavis continues to supply renewable energy to major partners such as Amazon, Google, and Microsoft, further solidifying its role in reshaping the European energy landscape.
