EnviTec Biogas Reports Strong Performance for H1 2024 and Confirms Forecast

EnviTec Biogas AG has released its half-year financial results for 2024, showcasing a robust business performance. Total output, including plants under construction, stood at EUR 181.6 million, a slight decrease from EUR 188.7 million in H1 2023. Revenues, however, saw a substantial increase to EUR 179.4 million, up from EUR 142.0 million in the same period last year.

EBITDA for the first half of 2024 was EUR 39.6 million, compared to EUR 47.8 million in H1 2023. EBT amounted to EUR 28.6 million, down from EUR 39.2 million in the prior year. The decline in profitability is attributed to one-time effects in electricity trading that did not recur this year.

The Own Plant Operation segment saw a decrease in performance, with revenues totaling EUR 90.1 million, down from EUR 113.4 million in H1 2023. The Service segment, on the other hand, reported a positive performance, with revenues rising 23.3% to EUR 25.0 million.

EnviTec is preparing to launch a new subsidiary focused on renewable energy projects in wind and solar power. The company maintains its full-year projection of total output between EUR 360–400 million and EBT between EUR 40–50 million.
