EURAZEO Extends its International Reach with New Tokyo Office
Eurazeo has announced the opening of a new office in Tokyo, enhancing its presence in Asia. This expansion aims to bring the firm closer to its clients and support its portfolio companies in the region.
The office will be managed by Ken Hu, who joins Eurazeo as a Director. Hu has a robust background, having served as CFO of a major Japanese start-up and held positions at Strategic Value Partners and AMP Capital Investors. His career began at Deutsche Bank and Mitsubishi. He graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Eurazeo has been active in Asia for several years, with previous office openings in China, South Korea, and Singapore. The Tokyo office is part of an effort to accelerate the Group’s expansion in Asian markets.
Co-CEOs Christophe Bavière and William Kadouch-Chassaing noted the importance of a local approach to strengthen ties between Japanese investors and European firms with high growth potential.
