EuroPacific Announces Significant Copper Mineralization at Depth in Miguel Vacas

EuroPacific Metals Inc. has announced encouraging drill results from the Miguel Vacas project. The additional 350m hole targeted the high-grade zone below a previous drill hole, intersecting 10.5m grading 2.56% Cu, including 5.9m grading 4.52% Cu. Notably, this zone lies approximately 80m NNE of the initial hole which included 9.0m grading 7.49% Cu within 22.8m grading 2.76% Cu.

The Miguel Vacas mine is located in the Alentejo region of Portugal, about 180km east of Lisbon and 70km east of Évora. The mineralized system, hosted in polymict breccia, extends at least 2km along strike and is open at depth.

The preliminary program engaged shallow drilling to evaluate an open pit heap leaching operation. EuroPacific completed 11 holes totaling 1,410m, most of which intercepted a wide quartz-breccia zone ranging from 5m to over 30m thick. Eight of these holes intersected the breccia zone over a strike length of 1.1km, confirming potential for further drilling both to the north and south.

Key results include Hole 1 with 22.8m grading 2.76% Cu, Hole 3 with 12.3m grading 1.55% Cu, Hole 4 with 10.5m grading 2.56% Cu, and Hole 8 with 14.1m grading 1.06% Cu. Pending assays from the remaining holes, including the significant undercut 350m hole, will provide additional insights.

CEO Karim Rayani stated that the results are promising, with continued mineralization in the High-Grade Zone. Phase 1 drill results are still pending, with future plans to extend the resource estimation and investigate strike and depth extensions.
