Temporary interruption of Eutelsat's OneWeb service

Eutelsat, a major player in satellite telecommunications, has experienced a temporary interruption of its OneWeb service. The 48-hour outage, starting on 31 December 2024, was caused by a software issue within the ground segment.

The company responded promptly to restore the entire service in collaboration with its supplier and maintained constant contact with affected customers. Since then, the OneWeb constellation has been operating nominally.
