EVN AG: Comprehensive Update in Investor Webcast 2024
On October 2, 2024, EVN AG hosted a webcast led by CEO Stefan Szyszkowitz, CFO Alexandra Wittmann, and CTO Stefan Stallinger. The webcast focused on providing institutional investors and analysts with updates on the company's Strategy 2030, current investment programme, and medium-term financial objectives at both segment and group levels.
Given the significant impact of climate change on the energy sector, EVN has decided to amplify its investment programme. The company now aims to invest 900 million euros annually by 2030. Key areas of investment include network infrastructure expansion, renewable energy projects, and the enhancement of drinking water supplies.
Additionally, EVN plans to explore growth in new business sectors, such as the development of e-mobility charging infrastructure and services for renewable energy communities. Novel business models, including the management of large-scale battery storage facilities, are also in the pipeline.
