EXACOMPTA CLAIREFONTAINE Reports H1 2024 Financial Results

EXACOMPTA CLAIREFONTAINE's Board of Directors, chaired by Mr. François Nusse, approved the Group's financial statements for the six months ending 30 June 2024. Consolidated revenue stood at €408,424,000, down from €421,860,000 in H1 2023. Operating income dropped to €21,156,000 from €46,206,000. Net income after tax decreased to €16,504,000 compared to €38,218,000 in H1 2023. The previous year's results were positively impacted by a €10.5 million real estate sale.

By segment, the Paper division saw a 17% revenue increase, while the Processing division experienced a decline, resulting in overall operating income of €21,156,000. Geographically, sales in France reached €209,627,000, Europe €181,337,000, and outside Europe €17,460,000.

The outlook for the second half indicates potential benefits from lower raw material prices, though demand remains uncertain. Full-year operating income is expected to fall short of 2023 figures exclusive of real estate gains. At 30 June 2024, gross borrowings were €213,058,000, with net borrowings at €103,519,000.
