EXIN Introduces AI Security Professional Certification
EXIN has launched the AI Security Professional (AISP) certification to address the growing need for verifiable AI security skills. As organizations rapidly adopt AI, the risk of security breaches increases, with few companies able to confidently account for personnel equipped to manage this risk.
The AISP certification, stemming from the OWASP AI Exchange, aims to close this skills gap. It provides validation for individuals' abilities to both understand AI-specific attack methods and govern AI systems to meet regulatory standards, such as the EU AI Act.
Distinct from existing certifications that do not cover AI threats, AISP combines technical and governance aspects of AI security without prerequisites. It aligns with the European CEN standard for AI professional roles, ensuring that those in security and risk positions are adequately equipped.
The certification is accessible globally via online platforms and accredited training providers. This initiative by EXIN aims to offer a structured way to demonstrate AI security proficiency, supporting organizations in securing their AI investments.
