Rush Rare Metals Corp. a annoncé l'acquisition de 52 claims miniers nommés Knob, situés dans le Wyoming, s'étendant sur environ 780 acres. Ces claims viennent s'ajouter au Copper Mountain Project de l'entreprise, en vertu d'un accord d'option/earn-in avec Myriad Uranium Corp. Myriad peut acquérir jusqu'à 75% d'intérêt dans le projet en engageant $5.5m en exploration.
La société voit dans ces données historiques une opportunité unique. L'exploration bénéficie d'une longueur d'avance grâce à des données antérieures, révélant un potentiel important d'uranium dans la région de Knob. Peter Smith, le PDG de Rush, estime que ce partenariat avec Myriad, appuyé par ces informations, pourrait permettre de développer un district d'uranium à Copper Mountain.
