Falcon To Commence Drill Program At Great Burnt, NL
Falcon Gold Corp. (TSXV: FG) has announced its plans to begin drilling at its 100%-owned Great Burnt Copper Project in Central Newfoundland. The company aims to test up to ten geophysical anomalies, with a maximum of 1,100 meters of drilling scheduled.
Falcon's 2,275-hectare property is located near the Benton Resources Inc. and Spruce Ridge Resources Ltd. Great Burnt Copper-Gold joint venture. Benton Resources recently reported significant copper findings, with one notable result showing 7.20% copper over 12.30 meters.
The Great Burnt Greenstone Belt, known for its copper and gold potential, includes the South Pond A, South Pond B, and End Zone copper prospects. Falcon's property lies along a 14 km mineralized corridor that promises further exploration potential.
Falcon's CEO, Karim Rayani, expressed enthusiasm for the drilling program, highlighting the project's untapped VMS potential. The technical aspects of the program were reviewed by Mike Kilbourne, P.Geo.
