Fall in half-year turnover for Lucibel
In the first half of 2024, Lucibel recorded a 38% drop in its turnover compared to the same period in 2023. The consolidated figure fell from €5,006 thousand to €3,128 thousand.
This reduction can be explained by several factors. The Procédés Hallier subsidiary, specialized in museography, saw its activity decrease by 25% due to public funding redirected towards the Paris Olympic Games. As for the Special Projects Business Unit, it showed a slight decrease of 3%.
The Light Cosmetics division, mainly driven by Lucibel.le Paris, recorded a fall of 52%. The partnership with Dior goes from €845,000 to €90,000. Restated for these factors, Lucibel.le Paris' turnover increased by 12%.
To face these challenges, Lucibel is undertaking a second phase of restructuring to optimize its operational performance and aim for profitability from 2025.
