FAVEOS SE and Home of Solar GmbH Forge Partnership for BESS Projects
FAVEOS SE, a company focused on battery energy storage systems (BESS), has announced a strategic collaboration with Home of Solar GmbH. This partnership aims to develop medium-voltage BESS projects across Germany. Initially, the focus will be on stand-alone storage projects, with plans to evolve into co-location projects.
Home of Solar GmbH will identify and secure locations in commercial, industrial, and rural areas, ensuring preferential conditions for BESS projects. They will manage projects up to the grid reservation stage. Afterwards, FAVEOS Energy Solutions GmbH, a subsidiary of FAVEOS SE, will handle further development, including the permitting process.
Projects will be managed by special purpose vehicles of the FAVEOS Group, which will construct, commission, and operate the facilities. The collaboration promises enhanced development capacities and synergy benefits for both parties.
