On August 8th, 2024, French carbon-negative energy producer FDE (Euronext: FDE) announced it repurchased 3,125 shares from July 29th to July 31st. This move follows the share buyback program authorized by the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on November 30th, 2023.

The repurchase details and daily volumes are as follows: 652 shares at €29.3890 on July 29th; 34 shares at €28.7500, 483 shares at €28.7000, and 328 shares at €28.7000 on July 30th; 679 shares at €28.6964, 75 shares at €29.1500, and 874 shares at €29.1263 on July 31st.

Following these transactions, FDE now holds 3.32% of its capital, not including shares in their liquidity contract. This buyback was financed with existing cash, leaving the company’s financial capacity for growth projects untouched. FDE targets generating over €175 million in annual revenue and an EBITDA above €85 million by 2030, alongside avoiding more than 20 million tons of CO2 emissions per year.

The company will release its FY 2024 results on October 23rd, 2024.
