Fieldwork Commences on Eagle Plains' Snowstorm Gold Project

Eagle Plains Resources (TSXV:EPL) has initiated fieldwork on its Snowstorm Property, located 45km east of Nakusp, British Columbia. The 1026 ha property features polymetallic veins with significant gold-silver-lead-zinc mineralization. TerraLogic Exploration Inc. of Cranbrook, BC, manages the exploration.

The historic Slocan Mining Camp, containing 173 past producing mines, hosts the Snowstorm Property. Active exploration began in the mid-1860s, producing over 1,000,000kg of silver. The property includes six BC Minfile occurrences, such as White Eagle and Snowstorm, extensively worked from 1925 to 1930.

Mineral samples from Snowstorm have yielded notable results. Historical samples recorded up to 572g/t silver, 2.81g/t gold, and 22.4% lead. Other occurrences also showed significant mineral content. However, Eagle Plains indicates these results are historical and not necessarily indicative of future findings.

Eagle Plains aims to assess the bulk-tonnage potential of the Snowstorm project, beyond its historical narrow vein exploration. Technical information is approved by C.C. Downie, P.Geo., a director and officer of Eagle Plains.
