FireFox Gold Advances Sarvi Project Drilling in Finland

FireFox Gold Corp has completed a reconnaissance diamond drilling at the Sarvi project in Lapland, Finland. The company drilled five shallow core holes totaling 887 meters in the west end of the project. This endeavor sought to explore results from the Geological Survey of Finland’s 2009 findings, which showed anomalous gold results.

The Sarvi project is strategically located next to Rupert Resources' Ikkari gold deposit and covers part of the Kittilä Suite's volcanic rocks. These newly drilled holes aimed to uncover potential host rocks beneath glacial sediments.

CEO Carl Löfberg expressed satisfaction with the activity near Ikkari, highlighting the interest in the Keulakko permit area due to favorable historical data. Meanwhile, Joe Mullin, former director, has resigned from the company. The board will consider replacement candidates.
