FireFox Gold Expands Exploration Success in Finland
FireFox Gold Corp has reported promising results from their 2024 exploration program at the Jeesiö Project in Lapland, Finland. Focusing on the southern region of the property, significant gold mineralizations were discovered at multiple prospects including KJ Hill and Saittavaara. At KJ Hill, trenching revealed gold concentrations of 14.62 g/t over 2.84 meters, highlighting a zone of quartz veins within a deformation area. This is a substantial increase from previous findings.
Further south, the Saittavaara prospect revealed new promising gold showings, extending the area of mineralization by over 800 meters. Surface sampling yielded results of 3.16 g/t and 3.05 g/t gold, indicating a robust presence of gold along the northwest-trending corridor. These findings extend Saittavaara to span a trend over 1.6 kilometers, enhancing its exploration potential.
FireFox's CEO Carl Lofberg expressed confidence in the project's potential, acknowledging the advancements in exploration and the identification of new promising targets. These developments elevate Jeesiö as a key focus for the company's future exploration activities.
