First Phosphate and Groupe Goyette enter into a memorandum of understanding for intermodality in Quebec

First Phosphate Corp. announces that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Groupe Goyette, a logistics specialist based in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec. This agreement aims to optimize First Phosphate's logistics at the Hébertville-Station intermodal station, in the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean region of Quebec, Canada. This strategic collaboration aims in particular to facilitate the transport of the company's mining and industrial products to the North American automotive industry, particularly in the sector of electric vehicles (EVs) and energy storage.

The joint efforts of First Phosphate and Groupe Goyette will focus on improving rail and logistics options for transportation to and from Saguenay as well as the rest of the continent. They also plan to increase handling and warehousing capacities in Quebec, with a particular emphasis on rapid truck-to-rail transportation services.

At the same time, Armand MacKenzie has been named vice president of government relations at First Phosphate, strengthening the company's commitment to sustainability and local communities.
