First Phosphate announces promising results on its Bégin-Lamarche project

First Phosphate Corp. revealed the first results of its 25,000 meter drilling program on the Bégin-Lamarche project, located in Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Quebec. Initial assays cover 3,394 meters of drilling, with notable phosphate (P2O5) intersections reaching up to 9.44% over 89.10 meters.

In the North Zone, boreholes BL-24-25 and BL-24-26 revealed P2O5 rates of 9.89% and 9.44% respectively, announcing positive prospects for the exploitation of the site. Other areas such as the Mountain Zone have revealed a wealth of apatite, with visual contents varying from 30% to 80% over widths of up to 43 meters.

John Passalacqua, CEO of First Phosphate, highlighted the high grade of the phosphate layers, reinforcing the open-pit mining potential of the Bégin-Lamarche project, favored by its proximity to developed infrastructure, including direct access to the port in deep water of Saguenay.
