First Phosphate Corp. Publishes Academic Study on Igneous Phosphate Deposits

First Phosphate Corp., based in Saguenay, Quebec, announces the publication of a peer-reviewed research note from Queen's Universities and UQAC, entitled "Igneous Rock Phosphate: Ore Grades, Concentrates and Global Mining Operations".

The study compares igneous phosphate deposits around the world, including the company's Bégin-Lamarche property. The results show that this deposit can produce a high-quality phosphate concentrate with a P2O5 content of 40.9%, higher than the world average.

First Phosphate has completed 25,929 m of drilling across three zones since February 2024, revealing mineable phosphate layers near surface, suggesting opportunities for open pit mining.

Additional details and First Phosphate's goals for integrating the entire supply chain for LFP batteries in North America are available on their website.
