Fnac Darty reaches 96.70% of Unieuro's share capital
Fnac Darty and RUBY Equity Investment announced that they have reached 96.70% of Unieuro's capital. This preliminary result follows a voluntary mixed public purchase offer. This led to an additional 3.04% contribution to their current stake. Now, with the treasury shares, this threshold has been reached.
The new payment date for Unieuro share holders is set for December 18, 2024. This acquisition allows Fnac Darty to exercise a mandatory withdrawal right. Thus, a Joint Procedure is envisaged to acquire the remaining shares.
Shareholders can choose between a partial cash and shares consideration or a full cash consideration. Transactions are carried out exclusively in accordance with Italian regulations.
