Food Expo PRO Returns in August with Hong Kong International Tea Fair

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will host the Food Expo PRO and Hong Kong International Tea Fair at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 15 to 17 August 2024. These events, targeting trade buyers for the first two days and opening to the public on 17 August, aim to serve as a comprehensive sourcing platform for the F&B industry. They will feature a wide array of global foods, beverages, and tea products.

This year, the Food Expo PRO will showcase pavilions from countries such as China, Japan, Korea, and Mexico, along with ASEAN nations. The "Food Science and Technology" zone will introduce alternative and future food products, with a notable section on Halal food. Ready-meals, particularly from various Chinese provinces, will also be highlighted.

The Hong Kong International Tea Fair will present an assortment of tea products and tea ware. Events include the 1st International Tea Event Space Design Competition 2024 and tea-tasting sessions. The "International and GBA KamCha Competition – HK Style Milk Tea Final" aims to promote Hong Kong-style milk tea culture.

The HKTDC will continue to utilize its EXHIBITION+ model, combining online and offline interaction through the Click2Match platform. Concurrently, the International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine and Health Products (ICMCM) will also take place on 15 and 16 August.
