FORTEC Elektronik Adjusts 2024/2025 Financial Forecast

FORTEC Elektronik AG has revised its turnover and earnings forecast for the 2024/2025 financial year due to challenging economic conditions and rising costs. The company announced a decrease in preliminary group turnover to around EUR 36 million for the first half of the financial year, down from EUR 47 million the previous year. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) also fell significantly to EUR 0.2 million, compared to EUR 4.5 million year-over-year.

As the expected recovery in the second half of the year appears unlikely, management has adjusted its full-year forecast. The group now anticipates a turnover of EUR 80 million to EUR 95 million, a reduction from the original estimate of EUR 95 million to EUR 110 million. Similarly, EBIT expectations have been lowered to between EUR 4 million and EUR 6 million from a prior range of EUR 6 million to EUR 8 million.

The company also postponed its medium-term sales targets to 2030. The full half-year report will be available on their website from March 27, 2025.
