FUCHS SE Exceeds Expectations in First Half of 2026
FUCHS SE reports preliminary results for the first half of 2026, surpassing expectations. The company anticipates sales revenues of €2,003 million, compared to €1,804 million in H1 2025. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) are expected at €260 million, up from €209 million last year. The second quarter EBIT reached €135 million, exceeding both the 2025 figure of €101 million and the consensus estimate of €108 million.
For the fiscal year 2026, FUCHS anticipates an EBIT ranging from €460 million to €480 million, an increase from the previous forecast of €450 million. Sales revenue forecasts remain unchanged, significantly above 2025's €3.7 billion. Growth was driven by pre-buying due to Middle Eastern conflicts, competitor limitations, and organic growth. However, pre-buying effects may negatively impact future sales volume, and rising raw material costs could affect margins. These factors suggest first-half results may not be sustained in the second half.
