GA-ASI's Blue Magic Netherlands Event Showcases Dutch Innovation
On November 19, 2024, General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) held its inaugural Blue Magic Netherlands event in Eindhoven. The event attracted roughly 200 attendees, offering Dutch firms a platform to present their innovations. Lockheed Martin Ventures and key Dutch governmental and developmental agencies supported the gathering.
The event was an opportunity for 15 selected Dutch companies to showcase technological advancements in fields such as AI, autonomy, sensors, and advanced manufacturing. Participation stemmed from an open call earlier this year, which saw 50 applicants narrowed down for the event.
Brad Lunn of GA-ASI emphasized the event's role in fostering research, development, and innovation. Following similar initiatives since 2019, GA-ASI aims to establish annual events in the Netherlands, with potential partnerships expected to emerge from this meeting.
