Galloper Gold Unveils Promising Drilling Results on Glover Island
Galloper Gold Corp., based in Vancouver, has announced significant drilling results at the Lucky Smoke occurrence on Glover Island, Western Newfoundland. The recent drilling revealed multiple mineralized intervals from surface to 200 meters depth, suggesting potential for a second deposit in a previously under-explored zone.
Highlighted results include 15 meters at 2.62 g/t gold, encompassing 1 meter at 18.79 g/t gold from 137 meters depth. Additionally, assays show 3.80 meters at 6.92 g/t gold starting at 146.5 meters in another test hole. CEO Hratch Jabrayan states these findings enhance understanding of the area's geology ahead of a larger exploration phase planned for 2025.
The initial six shallow drill holes have identified mineralization over approximately 400 meters at Lucky Smoke. This discovery is part of Galloper Gold's strategy to explore multiple shallow deposits along a 12-kilometer contact zone.
