MS Industrie AG Launches US Manufacturing Plant in Charlotte
MS Industrie AG has inaugurated its new manufacturing plant in Charlotte, North Carolina, marking a significant expansion into the US market. This facility will initially produce pre-series parts for large stationary engines, with full-scale production slated to begin in late 2025, pending customer approval.
The new plant aligns with growing demand for power sets, particularly for AI data centers in the US. Such production is expected to triple by 2030, driven by substantial framework orders from leading software companies.
Armin Distel, MS Industrie AG's management board member, emphasized the plant's advanced technological capabilities. The setup mirrors the company's German headquarters, enabling efficient production tailored to diverse industries, beyond traditional truck manufacturing.
