MS Industrie AG Projects Positive Future Despite Past Sales Decline
MS Industrie AG held its Annual General Meeting on July 1, 2025, with the management board projecting a positive outlook. Following a decline in turnover due to the partial sale of MS Ultrasonic and reduced demand in the drive technology segment, the company is optimistic about its strong order backlog. Dr. Andreas Aufschnaiter highlighted the potential market growth for their products in the coming years.
The 2024 financial year saw sales in drive technology and ultrasonic segments drop by 18% and 25%, respectively. However, the partial divestment of Ultrasonic helped reduce debt and increased the equity ratio. MS has expanded operations with a new site in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is in talks with defense technology companies for potential partnerships. Armin Distel emphasized MS's capability in maintaining quality and documentation standards across various sectors.
