Genel Energy Halts Production at Kurdistan Fields After Explosions

Genel Energy PLC announced a temporary suspension of operations at its DNO-operated Tawke license in Kurdistan, Iraq, following explosions. The incident, involving a small storage tank at Tawke and surface processing equipment at Peshkabir, was reported without injuries. Currently, damage assessment is underway, and production is expected to resume once the evaluation is complete.
