German Premium OEM Commences High-Temperature Testing of LION LIGHT Battery
LION E-Mobility AG announced that a premium German OEM has started high-temperature testing of its LION LIGHT Battery. This follows the successful completion of track tests, initially announced on August 1, 2024. The LION LIGHT Battery features advanced immersion cooling technology, which performed well during the track tests.
The project now moves to the next phase, assessing the battery's performance under high-temperature drive conditions. In addition, the same OEM will evaluate LION's 800 Volt battery packs for real-world performance, further expanding their collaboration.
Dr. Joachim Damasky, CEO of LION E-Mobility AG, expressed confidence in their cooling technology and highlighted the importance of these ongoing evaluations. LION's role as an innovator in high-performance battery solutions is further solidified with these developments.
