GESCO SE Announces Johannes Pfeffer as New CEO

The Supervisory Board of GESCO SE declared that Johannes Pfeffer will replace Ralph Rumberg as CEO, effective 1 October 2024. Rumberg is set to depart from the company on 30 June 2024. Pfeffer, who has a background in physics and business (Dipl.-Phys. & MBA), previously served as Vice President at Wago GmbH & Co KG. His experience also includes a stint as Managing Director at ebmpabst. Pfeffer's appointment is part of GESCO's ongoing transformation which began in 2018/2019.

GESCO’s leadership expressed confidence in Pfeffer’s ability to guide the company into its next development phase, highlighting his experienced and assertive management style. Under the umbrella of GESCO, Pfeffer is expected to further innovation and growth among the group’s market-leading medium-sized companies. The outgoing CEO, Ralph Rumberg, is credited with significantly contributing to the group's positive development, positioning GESCO as a leader in the industrial sector.
