Getlink: Compensation for Eleclink losses
On December 18, 2025, Getlink announced it had received €55 million in compensation from its insurers for Eleclink's operating losses, following the suspension of its activities from September 25, 2024, to February 5, 2025. Of this total amount, €5 million was already recognized in the first half of 2025. These funds will be recorded in the consolidated financial statements for 2025. In March 2025, the group had set an EBITDA target for 2025 that included an initial compensation tranche of €15 million. The final, higher compensation takes into account the damage assessment validated by the insurers.
