Global Tower: Project Transfer to New Owners Completed After Full Refurbishment
Branicks Group AG has successfully completed the refurbishment and transfer of ownership of the Global Tower in Frankfurt. The landmark high-rise, located in the banking district, now boasts full occupancy despite a challenging market.
The renovation, guided by architect Holger Meyer, resulted in 27 floors and over 33,000 square meters of rental space. The building now meets top energy standards and holds a Platinum prequalification from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) and a WiredScore Platinum certificate for digital connectivity.
The Global Tower accommodates businesses from the financial, IT, and consulting sectors. Branicks Group, with its headquarters in the tower since 2023, also collected development fees upon project completion.
CEO Sonja Wärntges highlighted the project as a testament to Branicks' expertise in revitalization and sustainable development, reinforcing the recovery of the premium office asset market. The property, initially built in the 1970s for Commerzbank, remains a key fixture in Frankfurt's high-rise landscape.
