Golding Capital Partners' "Buyout Co-Investment 2023" Hits First Close at €100 Million
Golding Capital Partners, a top independent asset manager for alternative investments in Europe, announced the first close of its "Golding Buyout Co-Investment 2023" fund with €101 million in capital pledges. Investors include insurance companies, pension schemes, pension funds, and family offices.
This Article 8 fund is the second generation of the firm's co-investment strategy, continuing the successful trajectory of the "Golding Buyout Co-Investment 2020" fund, which closed at €273 million. Dr. Matthias Reicherter, Managing Partner & Chief Investment Officer at Golding, emphasized the firm's strong buyout segment experience and diversified investment platform.
The fund has initially invested in five companies, including Quorum Cyber, two software firms in Scandinavia and Spain, an Austrian packaging company, and a global certification provider. The portfolio aims to include around 30 investments, focusing on technology, software, healthcare, and B2B services sectors.
With a target net IRR of 16 to 18 percent per annum, the investment programme aligns with Article 8 of the SFDR. Golding Capital Partners has managed roughly €2.7 billion in buyout assets, demonstrating their robust track record.
