Golding Capital Partners GmbH announces record 2023 and expansion of its circle of partners

Golding Capital Partners, the European asset management giant for alternative investments, closed 2023 with resounding success. The firm managed to raise new capital of 1.7 billion euros. This remarkable performance is accompanied by the appointment of Richard Wilmes, Secondaries specialist, to the company's circle of partners.

2023 marked the collection of 1.7 billion euros for Golding, notably allowing the fifth series of its infrastructure fund to reach a first closing of 360 million euros. Furthermore, the current Secondaries fund is on track to match, or even exceed, the volume of its predecessor with a target of 500 million euros.

With an investment volume of almost 1.7 billion euros in 2023, Golding maintains its investment capacity despite a changing market environment. The company highlights the growing importance of Secondaries, whose share of total investments has increased significantly.

The promotion of Richard Wilmes to partner highlights Golding's growing interest in Secondaries-oriented transactions. Jeremy Golding, the founder, praises Wilmes' expertise and passion for the field, foreseeing strong Secondaries and co-investment involvement in the company's future strategy.
