GOOD Vision Technologies Debuts K-Shape™ Topographer at Geneva Inventions Exhibition

On April 15, 2024, GOOD Vision Technologies introduced their innovative corneal topographer, K-Shape™, at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva. Specializing in Ophthalmic Optics & Diagnostics, GOOD Vision aims to transform eye care for children as young as four. The K-Shape™ topographer was developed with support from Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation's Incu-Bio Programme. It features advanced diagnostic capabilities to detect and manage eye conditions such as astigmatism and corneal ectasia.

The company highlights that this new technology is in line with the World Health Organization’s 2030 vision targets. It provides a timely solution in response to the rising astigmatism cases noted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Jason Lau, GOOD Vision's Technical Director, emphasized the precision and efficiency of the K-Shape™, which accommodates the specific visual development needs of children. The device includes AI algorithms for accurate diagnostics and is informed by normative data specifically from Chinese children to enhance care tailored to this demographic.

The introduction of K-Shape™ at such a prestigious event marks a significant step towards improving early diagnostic processes and treatment of corneal disorders, ensuring healthier visual development in young patients globally. GOOD Vision encourages visitors to experience the capabilities of this groundbreaking device at their booth in Geneva.
