Grabie Art Fund Partners with AATA to Enhance Art Therapy Accessibility
Grabie, a prominent online retailer of affordable art supplies, announced its collaboration with the American Art Therapy Association (AATA) through the Grabie Art Fund. This venture seeks to make art therapy more accessible, especially to underserved communities. Since its inception in 2022, the Grabie Art Fund has supported 39 organizations with over $157,000 in donations.
These efforts also align with contributions to various local organizations and initiatives such as the Born This Way Foundation. In 2024, Grabie will focus on extending its outreach by funding AATA member programs quarterly, facilitating free art therapy in local communities. The recipient organizations serve diverse groups including youth, LGBTQ+, veterans, and the unhoused.
Additionally, Grabie has introduced a quarterly Art Box that supports mental health through creative activities. The boxes cater to all skill levels, offering a range of art materials aimed at boosting mental well-being through art.
