Graylog v7.2 Enhances Cybersecurity with Verascend™ Incident System
Graylog has unveiled the Verascend™ Incident System in its latest v7.2 release. This tool aims to change how security teams identify and handle threats. Verascend converts risk-scored events into prioritized cases, allowing analysts to focus on confirmed incidents instead of numerous alerts.
With cyber attackers utilizing AI to expedite attacks, tools like Verascend are critical. It integrates Sigma rules, risk-scoring algorithms, and AI agents to consolidate events and assist in initial triage. Post-investigation, it offers AI-supported reporting and recommendations.
Besides security features, Graylog v7.2 enhances pipeline, storage, and system health visibility. Additionally, new support for OVH and Secunet SysEleven ensures European organizations can store data locally without extra infrastructure.
