Great Atlantic Discovers Gold Anomaly in New Brunswick Property

GREAT ATLANTIC RESOURCES CORP. (TSXV:GR) announces the discovery of anomalous gold in rock and soil samples at its Keymet Precious Metal - Base Metal Property located in northeast New Brunswick. The collection of samples during the 2023 exploration program has identified a 1.5 kilometers long target trend bearing anomalous gold, alongside notable zinc values in certain samples.

Twenty-one out of 41 soil samples from the west-central region of the Keymet Property revealed gold values ranging between 10 - 77 parts per billion (ppb), with certain areas exceeding 20 ppb, delineating a target area for further exploration. Additionally, bedrock and glacial float samples have yielded promising results, including a bedrock grab sample with 1.41 grams per tonne (G/T) gold and a glacial float sample with 0.43 G/T gold. Historical data alongside the 2021-2023 exploration findings, outline a significant trend adjacent to the Melanson Brook Fault, suggesting a robust potential for gold mineralization within the property.

Great Atlantic's exploration efforts extend to the northwest region of the Keymet Property, where rock samples were collected, including from areas of little previous exploration, further underscoring the underexplored potential of the property. The company's focus on systematic exploration aims to delineate further the mineral potential of the Keymet Property, leveraging its strategic position and historical significance in New Brunswick's mineral exploration landscape.
