Greencells GmbH Calls Its Secured Green Bond Early
Greencells GmbH announced the early call of its secured 6.5% Green Bond 2020/2025 on 28 June 2024. The bond, valued at EUR 47 million, will be redeemed at 102% of the nominal amount on 29 July 2024. Bondholders will receive accrued interest up to and including 28 July 2024. This redemption is facilitated through bank financing as disclosed in April 2024.
The termination notice was published on the company's website and the German Federal Gazette. Bondholders need not take any action for termination and redemption as payments will proceed automatically via Clearstream Banking AG and custodian banks.
CEO Andreas Hoffmann expressed gratitude to investors for their support in renewable energy investments. He emphasized the company's ongoing commitment to the European EPC market amid strong demand. Greencells GmbH will also focus on EPC light services and continue the sales process for its development portfolio, with completion anticipated in the second half of 2024.
