Greenliant Introduces NVMe NANDrive™ SSDs for Extreme Environments
Greenliant has announced the sampling of its new NVMe NANDrive™ BGA solid state drives (SSDs) to key industries, including aerospace, defense, industrial, and transportation sectors. The announcement made on March 26, 2024, highlights the company's efforts in providing high-performance, reliable storage solutions designed for embedded systems operating in extreme conditions.
The NVMe NANDrive SSDs, boasting compatibility with PCIe Gen3x4 interface and housed in an M.2 1620 package, operate within a wide temperature range from -40 to +95 degrees Celsius. These SSDs are designed to meet the stringent requirements of applications in harsh environments.
Arthur Kroyan, Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Greenliant, emphasized the company's commitment to delivering high reliability and speed with the introduction of these SSDs. They are crafted with the latest high-speed PCIe NVMe interface and EnduroSLC™ Technology, guaranteeing data retention and a remarkable endurance of up to 400,000 program-erase cycles.
The NVMe NANDrive SSDs come in two series: the high endurance EX Series, suitable for long-life applications, and the PX Series, designed for price-sensitive applications with a focus on high endurance. Greenliant has included these SSDs in its Long-Term Availability program, ensuring sustained support for its customers.
Set to begin volume production in the second half of 2024, Greenliant's NVMe NANDrive SSDs promise significant benefits, including exceptional performance, energy efficiency, and advanced data security features like hardware encryption and Secure Erase options.
