GRENKE AG Shareholders Approve Dividend Increase and Supervisory Board Changes
On April 30, 2024, GRENKE AG, a key financial partner for small and medium enterprises, conducted its 24th Annual General Meeting. During the event, shareholders approved a dividend increase to EUR 0.47 per share from the previous year's EUR 0.45. All agenda items received a large majority vote, including key elections and audit appointments.
CEO Dr. Sebastian Hirsch reflected on the company's achievements in the face of global challenges and discussed the company's future strategies. He highlighted a significant increase in new business, amounting to EUR 2.6 billion in 2023, marking over a 12 percent rise. The meeting also saw the election of Moritz Grenke as Deputy Chair of the Supervisory Board, alongside the re-election of Dr. Ljiljana Mitic and the election of Manfred Piontke as board members. BDO AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft was appointed as the company's auditor. The meeting recorded a shareholder attendance rate of 72.42%.
