Grid Battery Metals Inc. Launches Exploration Program at Clayton Valley Lithium Project

Grid Battery Metals Inc. announced the commencement of its 2024 Exploration Program at the Clayton Valley Lithium Project, starting with a Magnetotelluric (MT) geophysics survey conducted by KLM Geoscience. The operation is under the direction of Steven McMillin P.G., a Qualified Professional for Grid. KLM Geoscience is renowned for its expertise in various geophysical methods and has a longstanding relationship with Grid.

The exploration aims to deploy MT Systems across 85 station sites to identify lithium brine layers, focusing on subsurface structures that may concentrate brine. This initial survey, utilizing a six-person team, will pave the way for a soil sampling program, leading to the selection of drill targets for further exploration. Tim Fernback, Grid's CEO, emphasized the strategic choice of KLM based on successful past collaborations and the project's proximity to North America's sole lithium brine producer, Albemarle Corporation's Silver Peak Mine.

With a complete interest in both the Clayton Valley project and other promising sites in Nevada and British Columbia, Grid Battery Metals Inc. focuses on securing high-value battery metals essential for the electric vehicle market. The company plans a separate listing for its subsidiary, AC/DC Battery Metals Inc., enhancing shareholder value.
