Grid Battery Metals Reports Promising MT Survey Results from the Clayton Valley Lithium Project

COQUITLAM, BC / ACCESSWIRE / May 2, 2024 - Grid Battery Metals Inc. announced the completion of a Magnetotelluric (MT) geophysics survey conducted by KLM Geoscience on their Clayton Valley Lithium Project. The survey identified potential lithium brine zones characterized by low resistivity, which may indicate areas of higher lithium concentration. Steven McMillin P.G., the overseeing Qualified Professional, noted that the survey spans eleven profiles with key observations pointing to a significant northeast fault below the basin floor, suggesting potential fluid movement.

According to McMillin, further plans include an infill sampling program which will aid in developing a detailed 3D model of the subsurface. Tim Fernback, Grid President & CEO, highlighted the strategic proximity of their project to North America's sole lithium brine producer and emphasized the significance of these preliminary results for future exploration phases. This comes in light of recent positive feasibility studies by neighboring projects, underscoring the Clayton Valley's growing importance in the lithium market.
