Grid Metals Announces Promising Drill Results at Donner Lake Lithium Project

Grid Metals Corp. reported encouraging outcomes from their recent drilling activities at the Donner Lake Lithium Project in Manitoba, Canada. The January-March 2024 drill program focused on extending underground resources and upgrading near-surface resources at the Northwest and Main Dykes. The drill results have shown significant lithium interceptions deepening the potential of the site.

Specifically, at the Main Dyke, drilling reached about 125 meters below the deepest prior holes, with notable finds such as 6.9 meters at 1.28% Li2O. This discovery supports the potential for resource expansion at depth. Furthermore, the Northwest Dyke witnessed consistent lithium grades across 12 infill drill holes, highlighting intersections like 7 meters at 1.85% Li2O, which should aid in upgrading the resource category.

The company is also progressing on a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for the project, envisioning mining at Donner Lake with subsequent processing at the nearby True North Mill. This development aligns with ongoing optimization studies and permitting initiatives aimed to enhance project viability in anticipation of recovering lithium market prices.
