Grit Real Estate Announces Auditor Change Due to Mandatory Rotation
Grit Real Estate Income Group Limited, a prominent Pan-African real estate company, has announced a change in its auditing firm. PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) has stepped down, and the company’s board has appointed MacIntyre Hudson LLP (MHA) alongside Baker Tilly CI Audit Limited (BTCI) as the new auditors. This change aligns with the UK and Mauritius Corporate Governance Codes which mandate periodic rotation of audit firms.
BTCI will oversee the audit for the financial year ending 30 June 2025. The shareholders will vote on this appointment at the 2025 Annual General Meeting. PwC had served as the company’s auditors since 2018. PwC has confirmed that their departure does not involve any issues requiring communication to the company's members or creditors.
